Workshops with Ribba
Open Age partnered with the Royal Institute of British Architecture. To offer three workshops, a tour, and an exhibition for older people focusing on architecture. In these workshops they had the opportunity, to create art using different media under the guidance of curators and artists.
These workshops linked to the (Radical Room power of the plan Exhibition ) showcased both familiar names, and the people left out of architectural history. Including women and LGBTQ+ architects and clients. The main aim of these workshops was to provide opportunities and support for older people to be creative and explore their talents – whether they are beginners or experts.
Across the 3 days, 30 members attended all three workshops. The display of architectural models and drawings will be displayed until 15th July.
