Link-Up & Bridging

Available for residents aged 50 and over across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea:

Bridging Service (Bridging to another service)

The Bridging Service supports residents to find and access a more suitable alternative, where available, when their current service no longer meets their needs.

The service works closely with day centres and can introduce residents to day centres when they are considering attending or have been assessed by Adult Social Care and offered a place.

Link-Up Service (Support to access and attend any of the Open Age activities)

The Link-Up Service provides one to one support and encouragement, including home visits. This is time limited to help someone get going. One of our friendly staff members can help identify interests someone may have and which of the many Open Age activities available is the best match, be it in-person, on Zoom or in a phone group.

We strongly encourage referrers to speak with us first before making a referral to not waste valuable time completing a referral.

We can be contacted through referrals@openage.org.uk to arrange a phone call.

Link-Up Tech Support

Since June 2020 we have been providing 1-1 digital device support through our Link-Up Service enabling our members who have a technical/device issue to get it resolved or get them started!

Please see our weekly programme for ‘Trouble Shooting Tech sessions’ and email outreachbookings@openage.org.uk
