Anna Strang

Anna was for many years a solicitor specialising in mental health law and in addition to her legal qualifications, obtained a specialist qualification in forensic mental health from St George’s Medical School.
Since her retirement, she has worked in a number of roles helping older people to live active and fulfilling lives.
As a trustee at another charity, she was an advisor to the board on safeguarding matters with responsibility for wider compliance issues.
She has for some time led a successful class at Open Age and is keen to contribute more broadly to the success of the charity’s work.
Outside her charitable work, she has a keen interest in film and cooking and is Cordon Bleu trained.
