Lesley Butler, Trustee

Lesley is a Member Trustee. She joined Open Age about five years ago, and regularly participates in various exercise classes at the Second Half Centre.

After leaving university, Lesley did a postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management (now Human Resources). She worked in HR for several years in the retail sector and for a Lloyds insurance broker in the City. Lesley also worked for the Wandsworth Council for Community Relations, as the Employment Liaison Officer, to promote equal opportunity programmes in the borough of Wandsworth.

For twenty years before she retired, Lesley worked in various administrative roles in the NHS in the local health services of Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster. Her last post in the NHS was as the Facilities & Office Services Manager for Westminster Primary Care Trust.
